NATULIQUE Natural Curl Creator perms are Thioglycolate (TGC)-free, replaced by a much better ingredient: cysteamine HCL.
Thioglycolate can damage hair as it normally contains thioglycolic acid - a very strong chemical, but one that should not be used in hair care. Thioglycolic acid is a skin and eye irritant, and laboratory tests have demonstrated its deleterious effects on the liver and digestive tract.
